Anne Hathaway’s Semi-Sheer Look Frames Her Baby Bump on ‘Drew Barrymore’

Anne Hathaway stopped by The Drew Barrymore Show on Wednesday in a semi-sheer black outfit that framed her baby bump with long swaths of fabric draped on either side of the top.

The appearance continues a string of bump-baring maternity looks from the 43-year-old actress as she promotes Verity, which arrives in theaters Oct. 2.

The monochromatic ensemble paired the draped top with equally flowy pants. Hathaway skipped a necklace, instead wearing small hoop earrings and a stack of bangle bracelets.

The night before, at the New York City premiere of Verity, she wore a custom black Atelier Prabal Gurung gown with a sequined mermaid silhouette, a tulle cape train and Bulgari diamond rings, bracelets and earrings, her hair styled in a dramatic bouffant.

For the after-party, Hathaway changed into a feather-trimmed Sleeper pajama set and swapped her jewels for more colorful Bulgari pieces.

Black appears to be a signature color for her current press tour and late-stage pregnancy, with the Drew Barrymore appearance matching the monochromatic approach of her red-carpet premiere look.

Hathaway announced in June that she was pregnant with her third child while vacationing in St. Tropez with husband Adam Shulman and their two sons.

Since then, she has used red carpet appearances to test maternity styling: in June she wore a red peplum jumpsuit to promote The Odyssey and later said she accidentally wore it backwards; in August she showed midriff at the End of Oak Street premiere in a high-low halter top and low-slung jeans by Prabal Gurung.

With Verity opening Oct. 2, Hathaway has said she will soon take a break before beginning work on the action-focused Days of Thunder sequel with Tom Cruise next year.
